Up & At Em!

I never wants to leavemy  fabulous bed .... and it is really hard cause i am a stay at home mum and i work from home ...Waking up basically sucks, unless you have something great to look forward to or you wake at “just the right ” moment in the right way. OK, lets face it… mainly we all want to sleep a little more! Here are a couple of get-the- HELL -out-of-bed tricks that will sway you toward becoming a morning person…

Peppermint oil is like caffeine for your shower! The easiest aromatherapy is a few drops of peppermint oil on the perimeter of your shower (rather than directly in the stream of water); the result is a shower that will dazzle you to total alertness!
Try to go to bed between before midnight. 10:00 is best, but not many of you would dare sleep that early. Your organ repair happens in the early portion of the evenings according to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. So, if you don’t sleep early enough, you don’t repair your organs properly, as the theory goes. thats’ a little motivating…no?!
Keep fresh water at the side of the bed. A bottle of water(realdiamondwater.com) is the ultimate morning elixir. Plus, you will feel a bit pampered, like you are sleeping at a hotel, and that is a good thing!
If you have a favorite waking-up ritual, please share. I can never ever get enough of them!

Honey Natural Wheezing Relief

My son Jaxon has Asthma very bad . I hate giving him so many meds so someone told me to try honey ...yes HONEY it really helps
Honey may be beneficial to asthmatic children between the ages of two and six who contract a cold, as over-the-counter cough medicines are not recommended by the Food and Drug Administration for young children. Users should consult a doctor before using honey as a regular form of asthma treatment. While honey can help relieve coughing associated with asthma, recurring symptoms should be treated with a long-term controller medication that relieves airway inflammation

Chipotle Butternut Squash Grilled Cheese

It is so hard to get Jaxon (my 10 year old ) to eat veggie so i have to make up recipes hope you enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butternut squash puree*
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, seeds removed (unless you want a LOT of heat, in that case, leave them in), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Bread of your choice
  • 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, sliced or whatever cheese you like
  • Butter

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together butternut squash, chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, kosher salt, and pepper.
  2. Lay down the bread slices and, using a butter knife, spread ¼ cup butternut squash mixture on one side of each sandwich. Lay the pepper jack cheese evenly over the top of the chipotle butternut spread and close the sandwich.
  3. Generously butter the outside of each sandwich on both sides.
  4. In a large frying pan over medium-low heat, cook the sandwiches, flipping often, until golden-brown on the outside and the cheese is melted inside, about 10 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
* To make the butternut squash puree, slice a butternut squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Place cut side down on a large baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes, until fork-tender. Scoop out the soft, cooked squash and puree in a food processor or blender.
